The Not So Hungry Little Caterpillar
Happy Tuesday!
I have a rather cute project to share made entirely from the October Bubbly Funk Letterbox apart from a scrap piece of striped paper! There’s so much in these boxes that I didn’t feel the need to add much at all! In one of the packets from the box, I got these little grey pom poms and they made me think of caterpillars so I glued them together adding twine and beads to embellish. My caterpillar was born! Of course, he needed leaves to rest and feed on which I found in the box too. I drew faux stitching on the leaves and rolled them a little to give them a 3D look.
The letterbox also contained a whole strip of self adhesive gems which were all clear. CRAFT TIP: I have a little tip with these clear gems to share and that is you can colour them whatever colour you please with alcohol markers – isn’t that great! I coloured mine in green as you can see above and stuck them onto a strip of zig zag washi tape.
Finally I coloured in the Hugs sentiment with my chalk inks in a co-ordinating colour and added a couple of orange flowers to finish.
It’s still not too late to get one of these fab October Letterboxes and you can purchase them here https://www.bubblyfunk.co.uk/ . For those of you that have received your boxes, I’d love to see what you’ve been making so please tag #BubblyFunk on your creations!
See you again soon and stay posted as there are lots of wonderful projects to come this week!
