A Scrapling with “Love Is…”
Hello!
Do you ever feel stuck just looking at an empty piece of paper or card – even if it’s in your favourite format? I do! And have been struggling over the last few weeks to get going with my crafting. I mentioned on my own blog today that quite a few things have been filed in the bin recently!
So I thought a change of starting point might be a way out of the rut. When it comes to white cards I tend to buy them ready cut and creased, but all other card I just buy the ‘flat’ stuff, so when I make a square card from a sheet of A4 I end up with a Scrapling – made from the left over strip. As they are usually coloured card, and the shape is unusually tall and skinny, they offer a quite different starting point for my crafting. I found this Ribbed Kraft card Scrapling in my Bits Box and grabbed my “Love is…” Through the Letterbox craft box and within about half an hour I’d actually finished something!
The Letterbox craft boxes cost just £12.50 and they are stuffed with stash! I don’t seem to have made much of a dent in the contents of mine – I even used just a few bits I’ve still to use as props for my photos!
From the “Love is…” Through the Letterbox craft box I used:
Gingham ribbon
Red Glitter Heart die cut
Paper Flower
Tiny Sales Tag
The tiny star was punched from another of the glittery hearts
From my stash: off-white card and border punch for the ‘lace’ strip
Red beads set in Glossy Accents for flower centre, sentiment sticker on the tag
That’s it for this time.
Thank you for visiting.
Happy Crafting
