Sunny Thank You
Hello!
I needed a ‘Thank You’ card in a bit of a hurry last week, so put something simple together using bits and pieces from our lovely ‘Hello Spring’ craft box, along with some left over inked-up card scraps that were still lying on my desk.
I used a couple of different patterned papers from the box, From the checked paper I cut a piece to cover not quite half of the card front, then added a smaller rectangle to adhere over the top.
One of the wooden butterflies was covered with a peachy-pinky-reddish Stickles glitter glue and left to dry while I did the rest of the card.
I found a matching length of ric-rac braid and cut to fit the side of the small rectangle, then tied a knot in another small piece and glued in place.
The “Thank You” sentiment and the punched petals for the flowers were cut from the inked card I’d used for another project (I’m obviously in this colour zone at the moment!). I made the leaves using the same punch and some green card scraps, I just cut some of the petals off to tuck under the flower as leaves
Once the butterfly was dry I just added some tiny silver gems and a few matching pearls to finish the card.
From the Hello Spring box I used
2 pieces of patterned paper
1x Wooden Butterfly
From my stash I used, card scraps, braid, gems, pearls, punch and dies
