Paper Rose

I’ve been in a bit of a flower-making mood lately, so for this project I’ve used some leftover pieces of paper from my Hello Spring craft box to make a paper rose.  I’ve also used a butterfly and the flower stencil and the oval frame shape and the tiny price tag came from the Love box.

I started with the paper, this one is plain white on the reverse, so I added some peachy ink before cutting the flower shapes.  Let me know if you need a tutorial on how to make the roses – pop over to our Facebook page and leave a message!

The chipboard oval, the tag  and the wooden butterfly were inked in shades to go with the rose. The string from the tag was also inked to match.

I embossed a white square of card and used a piece of inked card leftover from another project to make the backing piece.

On the card blank I stencilled some random petal shapes in pale blue using the stencil that arrived with my Hello Spring box.

Everything was then layered up and glued in place.  A few die cut leaves and some pearls were added to complete the card.
