The school holidays are in full swing over here in France and the weather so far has been amazing.
Today I am sharing with you a little project that I made for my daughter using some of the contents from One Happy Day..
I started by making a box frame from a square of purple card stock. You can use any size square you wish then you need to score at 0.5″, 1″, 1.5″ and 2″ on all four side. Fold these score lines then comes the hard part as you need to make your corners.
You need to cut away where I have coloured in.
It should now look likes this. Now you can start to glue the frame together. Glue the straight edges first. Then the angled edges which will create your lovely corners. I used a wet glue so it gives you a little wriggle room to line everything up.
You can now start to decorate. I used some of the velvet purple spotty paper for the centre of my frame along with a square of the glitter paper. I then added the wooden crown and one of the lovely gems.
I then used some the of ribbon from the One Happy Day kit and added my own die cut letters.
A lovely picture fit for any princess.
Have a great day.
