A Thank You Trio

I’ve a set of simple Thank You cards to share this time.  I’ve used mulberry paper petals and some pretty Baker’s Twine from the Bubbly Funk Shop along with coloured card and dies from my stash

I’m not very good at bulk-making the same thing over and over, I get sooooo bored! Although these use the same basic ‘kit’, each is a little different from the other.

I love the way a simple length of twine can be used to add interest in different ways.  On the card above its two strands, crossed over under the flower and on the card below I used a single strand and tied a separate little bow and glued it on top.

There are two white flowers on the first card and just one on the second.  The flower centres are different too, one has an enamel ‘dot’ the other is just a circle punched from the same peach card as the fancy die cut layer.

There’s no twine on the aqua card but I used a row of three flower petals and a double layer of die cuts.  The flowers have a little bit of bling for their centres this time

From the Bubbly Funk Shop I used

White Daisy Flowers

Aqua Flowers

Baker’s Twine

Crystal Gems

From my stash: card, dies, punch, enamel dot

The great thing about adaptable designs like these is that you can rustle up a nice batch of cards in quite a short time, just by varying the colours and the way you put them together.  I used a couple of die sets and raided my scraps box for pieces of card big enough to use on these little 12cm square cards.  A few simple but pretty embellishments and soon there’s a little pile of cards all done!

That’s it for this time, thank you for visiting

Happy Crafting
