I am very excited to share with you one of the new stencils available from the Bubbly Funk SHOP called Star Layers.
It’s such a fabulous stencil. As you can see from my card that the stencil has 5 big stars, some tiny stars and some dots. I utilised the whole stencil on my card but you can very easily just use some of the smaller elements.
To make the card I first applied some coloured ink in a sort of rainbow to a square of white card stock. I then quickly dried this using a heat tool. I then placed the stencil over the prepared background and using a dark blue ink and a blending tool I gently rubbed the ink through the stencil.
I then splattered the card with some lovely shimmery white ink and added this to a piece of black card stock to create a little mat.
I wanted to keep my card fairly simple and let the stencil be the main focus so I just added a stacked die cut greeting and a simple sentiment banner. To make the stacked die cut you need to cut about 4 or 5 of the same greeting and glue them on top of each other. I then added a few layers of clear embossing powder to get a glossy finish.
Please stop by the Bubbly Funk SHOP to check out all the stencils available.
Have a lovely day.
