Tutorial – Rainbow Love U

I began by creating a rainbow by using 12 x 12 cardstock, 6 x 6 patterned paper and glitter card. I used my dining plates to create different sized rings. I stuck them onto a piece of white cardstock, with a slight gap between each layer. I coved the rainbow with a scrap of cardstock, all except the outer red layer. I took a red ink pad and a heart stencil and inked all over the red layer. Once the ink was dry, I outlined each layer with a journal pen and cut out the rainbow.

I took another piece of white 12 x 12 cardstock and attached a piece of blue patterned paper to the top and pink to the bottom. I then added my rainbow over the join. I glued on some pink buttons alongside the pink layer.

I added my photograph to the rainbow. I also added a piece of lace and pom poms to the bottom of the photo.

Next I cut out a selection of embellishments and journal cards from the 6 x 6 paper pad. I also cut out a selection of large flowers from a piece of 12 x 12 patterned paper. Once I had a nice selection, I arranged them around the photograph and rainbow and attached with foam pads.

To finish, I stamped some little butterflies onto coloured patterned paper and cut them out. I also added a nice foam alphabet for my title.

I hope your like my rainbow themed layout, a little tribute to my lovely cousin.
