Tutorial – Ray of Sunshine Layout

Instructions

I began by gluing together 2 pieces of 6 x 6 paper from the end of summer pack. I then cut a rectangle of patterned paper and added it to the 12 x 12 card stock before adding the joined piece over the top.

Next, I mounted my photos onto mustard card stock. I used my craft knife to cut around the patterned paper on the 12 x 12 piece so I could slot in my photo and have corner holders.

I made small tags, I used some of the patterned paper from the pad to cover the tags. I matted one on some left-over mustard card stock too. I added journaling to the tags and slotted them in between the patterned paper layers.

Next, I made some semi circles from some of the 6 x 6 paper in the sunrise pad. I added them along the top and bottom of the patterned paper. I outlined the bottom ones with coloured pens and turned the top one into a rainbow.

Next, I added stickers, a date card, ephemera, and sunflower photos to the layout to decorate and finish

I hope you like the layout, a simple creation using bright photo’s and beautiful patterned papers, to celebrate the end of our great summer

Thanks
