I decided to keep the buildings a brick colour and make everything else colourful. Loved spending time colouring this and used a mixture of Pixie Sparkles and Shimmer Shakes.

I previously made a cotton reel bunting for the Jubilee and thought a star one would be super cute for Christmas or actually for any occasion and as well as looking cute as is, they are perfect when unravelled to use on a celebration cake for example.
Just pop a couple of cocktail sticks in the cake and string across the bunting!

I stamped with embossing ink and white embossed and then used watercolours to loosely colour. I didn’t try to stay in the lines, and I really like how casual this looks.

With a gorgeous stamp like this you can either do a silhouette or colour parts of the stamp.

Colouring parts of the stamp means carefully stamping the stamp and wiping off ink where you don’t want it and possibly stamping a few times with the different colours. Takes a bit longer, but it is worth the effort!

I love mandalas and they fit just about every craf

I love mandalas and they fit just about every craft, and they are great for a coaster, don’t you think?!

I primed the wooden square with Matt Medium and then painted them white.

Using the wonderful Stampendous rubber stamp I stamped the mandala with embossing ink and embossed with a copper powder. I then loosely coloured in with acrylic paint.

Sealed with a spray clear lacquer.

Put thin cork on the back and you have two colourful coasters!
